Christopher L. Garibian

Mr. Garibian has been practicing law for the past twelve years passionately representing both men and women on all issues of family law.

Ask Mr. Garibian about his core philosophy of helping clients, and you’ll receive a potent three-word answer: action creates reaction. “To successfully handle a divorce,” Mr. Garibian advises, “there must be a plan of action to move through the process that includes an entrance strategy, an exit strategy and contingency plans.”

For you, this means that your divorce will be guided by a focused, strategic and customized action plan designed to achieve the best possible results in the least amount of time, expense and emotional toll.

Kathy Simmons

Kathy Simmons, Paralegal and Firm Administrator, began her career in the field of law in 1967 after completing the Legal Secretarial course at Ridgewood Secretarial School in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  She gained experience in many areas of the law by working in Bergen County, New Jersey and later in Connecticut, for attorneys who were engaged in general law practices.

While raising two young children and experiencing a divorce herself, as a single mother, Kathy Simmons became certified by the Administrative Office of the Courts as a Certified Court Transcriber, and for seven years she prepared court transcripts from tape recorded court proceedings.

In 1979 Ms. Simmons obtained her Paralegal Certificate.

Beginning in 1986, Ms. Simmons worked as paralegal to Laurence J. Cutler, Esq. of Morristown, who exclusively handled family law and related matters.  Later, when Mr. Cutler formed the law firm of Cutler, Simeone, Townsend, O’Donnell and Tomaio, she served as Firm Administrator. It was there that she met Christopher Leon Garibian, Esq.

From 2005 to 2009, Kathy was Paralegal to Christopher Garibian at the firm of Salvaggio Garibian LLC.

In 2009, when Mr. Garibian left Salvaggio Garibian to open his own firm of Garibian LLC, Ms. Simmons went with him as his Paralegal and Office Administrator.

Ms. Simmons’ many years of experience in the field of law, and specifically in the area of family law for nearly twenty years, her familiarity with the New Jersey Court system, court personnel, and members of the legal community in general, in addition to her own personal experience with divorce, allows her to succeed on many levels within the Firm.
